Lives & works in Queens, NY

My name is Andrea Marceles; I'm a Colombian-American artist and educator born in 1989 in New York City. Having grown up between the Lower East Side of NY and the coast of Barranquilla, Colombia, I draw inspiration from my diverse cultural background. I hold an M.A. in Art Education and a B.A. in Studio Art with a minor in Art History from Hunter College, NY. My work has been exhibited at numerous art galleries in both New York City and Colombia, where I explore themes of feminism, sexuality, and femininity.
